Caution – Covid’s all around us

Since all local schools and kindergardens were closed down to slow the spread of Covid-19, we were forced to keep our doors shut as well.

We were locked from 16.03.20 to 21.04.20. This has caused delays in repairs and orders. We will get up to speed as fast as we can, but ask for patience and apologize for the inconvenience.

We are now open for business as much as time and safety measures allows. Customer access to the repair shop is limited. There is unfortunately no access to the studio yet.

April 1st – Pausing vintage synth repairs

Effective from April 1st, the new rules for MVA on imported goods means we can no longer buy single parts for vintage instrument repairs without an extra handling fee that skyrockets the costs involved. This will push the price on parts up several hundred percent.

While it might not be the final nail in the coffin for our synth repair services, we’ve set all vintage synth repair on hiatus until economy allows us to continue. We apologize in advance.

Friends and pro costumers might still inquire for repairs, but restorations are beyond current capacity.

No vintage organs

Yes, they’re often cheap and sound magnificient. However, we hardly ever recoupe our money when restoring an Ace, Philicora or what have you, meaning we absolutely do not service organs at this time, all apologies. Come by for anything else.. or I mean, other rare, complicated and expensive stuff.. Cheers.

No more synths in 2019

..unless you’ve got a gig. We’ve got work enough to keep us occupied untli spring 2020. If you’ve got outboard, guitars, tube amplifiers or, well, other stuff, get in touch and we’ll sort it out.

Also, if you’re really keen to have your collection of vintage synths restored.. do give a beep if you’re willing to get your hands dirty. (Well, burned, chipped and sore, but still.)
