Closed WEEK 48 2024

Due to family related circumstances, we unfortunately will be closed for the entire week (Nov 25th – 29th). We’ll try to keep the door open for pickup and delivery Tuesday 26th, but both repair and studio services will be paused. See you in December.

(Phone’s will be mostly off the hook, please use e-mail.)

Reminder: Don’t buy clones

Don’t feed the leaches and parasites that prevent innovation and undermines the livelihood of creators. Don’t buy landfill. This applies to any resent “inspired” product by Warm Audio, Behringer or similar fucking fuckers. We won’t service that shit. Don’t bring it in. Don’t buy it.

Warm Audio recently added Cloud Microphones and AEA products to their list of knock offs, continuing to undermine smaller companies. Also, Stam Audio invited themselves to a piece of Tube-Techs revenue by their fresh copy of the CL-1B, thus putting themselves on our list of no-go companies/fucktards.

Don’t let them get away with this. Buy the originals.

No orange monkey business

As we’ve stated earlier on what used to be Twitter – Now a one syllable circle jerk – With the orange monkey re-elected, we will stop all service of US products. This will affect any manufacture from 2025 and on, until the land of stupid recovers.

This is just an added measure to our already existing policy – “If you’re pro Trump*, we’re not fixing your shit”. We run a strict ANTI-FASCIST shop here. Cheers.

* Putin, Netanyahu or any obvious fucktard**

Not sure if you will be affected? Besides preparing for the zombie apocalypse, you could read the Wiki on US brands here:

** like …say, Jack O’Donnell or Uli Behringer

You’re choking us – Pay your bills

Here’s the thing. It’s a sad fact that a lot of our customers have a loose relationship with bills and money. Less than half of you pay up in a timely fashion. These late payments are crippling our business. Parts orders have to wait until liquidity is sufficient. Lead times get longer for everyone. We get to serve less clients.

If you’re in that group of economically challenged individuals, see if you can change your priorities if you want us to stay in business. (If you can’t afford to pay, that is fine too, you just don’t get to use our services.)

Oh, and pick up your instruments when they’re serviced. We have at least 15 items ready for pickup now, some of which have been here for more than a year. We can not afford to be a free storage facility. Come Q1 2025, we will be disposing of unclaimed instruments. Wheter we then also shut down the repair shop, is up to you.
