Downscaling the repair shop

We’re now closed on Wednesdays while revising our services. It is fairly easy to see that we either have to up our prices, limit our range of service, or both, to afford rent and wages.

We will focus on tube amps and outboard this fall in an attempt to remedy the situation. If you would want any other item serviced, you may ask, but we might have to decline. Some current items in the line will be wrapped up and shipped back without completed service.

To help us get out of this sad state of affairs, you can assist with

  • Paying your bills in time
  • Pick up your items when they’re done
  • Use E-mail or SMS for inquiries, instead of the phone

There will be a final deadline for pickup, whereafter whatever’s left will be dumped or sold. TBA.

Opening hours – Fall of 2025

The repair shop will be open
Monday and Tuesday + Thursday and Friday 10:00 – 16:00

starting October 6th. (Wednesdays will be used for other matters, TBA.)

Please call in advance to make sure we’re available – And pretty please, do not call at night or in the weekends. Email and texts are not answered outside opening hours.

Note that repairs are slow at the moment, somewhat due to the intense traffic you give us, and otherwise because of the difficulty in sourcing parts, in this Age of Stupid.

On the upside, we do the occasional house call and field work, should your predicament be of a less transport friendy nature.

We still do not repair Hi-Fi, PA, DJ-gear, organs or monitors. Also see Reminder: No orange monkey business
